Roberto Cavalli fall/winter

Roberto Cavalli  2014/2015 fall/winter  (Milan FW)

Did it start with Roberto Cavalli’s fall/winter fashion collection for 2014/2015. Well Milan’s fashion week isn’t the first one on the high fashion runway list. There are three other major fashion capitals: London, New York and Paris, every fashionista knows that. I guess we need a fashion week calendar, so that we don’t get confused. But we should talk about upcoming season’s fashion, not upcoming fashion weeks. I’m certainly concerned about upcoming season’s womens winter coats. Roberto Cavalli gave us an inspiration, but we have to move forward.

Moschino. Milan-Fashion Week

Moschino 2014/2015 fall/winter (Milan Fashion Week)

I’ve already talked about boots fashion trends for 2014/2015, fall/ winter, a little bit about the upcoming season kids fashion and already mentioned some highlights from Chanel’s fall/winter fashion collection. What is more to say? Instead of talking we should have a look at some highlights of New York, London, Milan and Paris collections. As one fashionista Valentina Zannoni noticed, this year’s fall and winter fashion runaways were filled with Renaissance themes and moods.  It seems that fall and winter fashion is reborn.  This year fashion designers went for bright and lively colours, while some even drank a bloody Mary and ate some Moschino fries. And how about womens winter coats?

Dolce & Gabbana fashion week  2014/2015 fall/winter

Dolce & Gabbana  2012/2013 fall/winter ( Milan fashion week)

From killing red, to heroic oversize coats and pastel hues- it was all there, all shades, moods and textures. Just have a glimpse at the famous fashion houses autumn and winter suggestions, because new season is already by our doorstep. From Dolce and & Gabbana,  Saint Laurent,  Tom Ford, to Burberry, Valentino and etc. If you are a true fashionista you know the full list.

Can you feel that autumn and winter fashion Renaissance chills? NYC fashion week boosted with creativity and wearable fashion, they were heading towards commercial success.  As trends and creative directors change, we are left here wondering, what’s next? In London best and new designers went for experimentation, while in Milan Italian escapism was reborn in silky dresses and trouser suits.  The eighties and nineties high fashion success was relived and revitalized once more. And Paris, ohh Paris and Chanel surprised us with its thematic experimentation.  But what did these major fashion capitals offer us in the field of womens winter coats?

There were at least  7 thematic variations of womens winter coats, of course some of them can be worn during fall season and must be worn. Lets look at the major trend of this years fashion weeks, from Paris, New York, London and Milan.

I.Bloody Mary reds

The upcoming season is all about red. Fire, passion and some bloody Mary. Red coats with fur, silk and lace accessories, reflects  today’s  state of mind and contemporary changes. Ladies should wear red with conscience and pride. It is a risky shade, but its worth the effect.  Feel wild this this season of falling leaves and frost.

It gives you the sense of New England’s forest. Just be the one from the nature in your autumnal coat or even cover yourself with the same shades during warmer winter weather.

You should always look for balanced coat construction, especially tube one. This year they are uber structured in various fabrics and shades. It can either be bouncle or cashmere.

VII.Just some furry accents

And for the finishing touches and trends of the upcoming season, never ever forger furry accent.  Instead of fur coat you can choose just a minor furry accent. It can be trimmed fur hoods, pockets, cuts and etc.  You can either wear a fur dress if you are risky enough. This will be a glamorous and furry season, high fashion designers promise that.

If we have to sum up the overall inspirations for the upcoming season’s  fashion,  we would notice that 60′s and 70′s silhouettes dominates, so as oversize coats, furs and capes. But there is also some lightness and contrasts. From pastel shades to autumnal hues. However this fall and winter burns (just like R.Cavalli’s runway) in shades of red and furry fabrics most of all.  Be passionate about fashion.
